How to draw a labyrinth

How to draw a three path labyrinth

Begin by drawing a cross and marking a point in each quadrant as shown below.

Clockwise

Join point A to point B.

Join point H to point C.

Join point G to point D.

Join point F to point E.

You can now choose whether to draw clockwise or anti-clockwise.

Anti-Clockwise

Join point A to point H.

Join point B to point G.

Join point C to point F.

Join point D to point E.

Join point O to point D.

Join point N to point E.

Join point M to point F.

Join point L to point G.

Join point K to point H.

Join point J to point I.

Once again you can draw clockwise or anti-clockwise.

Anti-Clockwise

Join point A to point P.

Join point B to point O.

Join point C to point N.

Join point D to point M.

Join point E to point L.

Join point F to point K.

Join point G to point J.

Join point H to point I.

You can make your labyrinth any size. Space permitting you could make it large enough to physically walk around or if space is more limited you can make a smaller one to trace around with a finger.

Get crafty!

Try using different materials to make your labyrinth. It can be permanent or ephemeral. Larger labyrinths could be marked out with hedges or plants, stones, ropes... Finger labyrinths could be embroidered, appliquéd, drawn, painted... Let your imagination go!
